The soft power that has been saving the world

THE BLUE

Music S. Yarovoy Lyrics Y. Alekhin, S. Ilyev Performing the ensemble "Blue Berets"

THE BLUE

Music S. Yarovoy Lyrics Y. Alekhin, S. Ilyev Performing the ensemble "Blue Berets" Translation Em Rostverg

The blue has splashed and has spilled all over
On our telnyashkas and military berets,
Even in our hearts the blue has got lost in,
Spilling its unusually tempting color.
Even in our hearts the blue has got lost in,
Spilling its unusually tempting color.

The motor’s noise is behind the duralumin skin
And the blue lies on the wings like real paint.
You don't be afraid of blue, you won't drown,
This is true reality, not a fairy tale.
You don't be afraid of blue, you won't drown,
This is true reality, not a fairy tale.

I remember, as a child, on magic carpets
We opened up unknown before us routes,
And now we have found a job in the sky —
To fill our parachutes with the blue.
And now we have found a job in the sky —
To fill our parachutes with the blue.

The blue has splashed and has spilled all over
On our shoulder marks and gorget patches.
I want our life to go on and on
According to strict laws of airborne troops.
I want our life to go on and on
According to laws of guards airborne troops.
